Beatlemania #2 Eleanor Rigby RIP

St. Peter’s Church in Woolton, a middle Class district of Liverpool, is where the first meeting of John Lennon and Paul McCartney took place on the evening of Saturday, 6th July 1957.
John Lennon and the other members of the Quarrymen (named after his high School Quarry Bank – also my high School – more stories and pictures on that later)  were introduced to the Paul McCartney by a mutual friend.

Also of note, but I think a pure co-incidence, is the gravestone in the church yard (you can visit it today) of a so called Eleanor Rigby.  Rigby is a daily common name in those parts.  See below, taken on a visit in recent years.
